Al-Zafar Memorial Education Trust (AZMET) Nawabganj, Kishanganj, Bihar, India, is committed to the cause of promoting technical education among an abysmally poor and educationally backward mass of the society. In view of such a horrifying spectacle of, ‘no technical centre throughout the length and breadth of the district, Al-Zafar Memorial Education Trust took up the all too daunting tasks of imparting technical education to the depressed and neglected populate of the region and as the primary step in this direction AZMET College of Engineering and Technology has been set up at Tengarmari with the help of eminent scholars and social activists of the region. AZMET Institute of Technology has been set up at Zafar Nagar, Anarkali, Kishanganj.
